Meet Your Cobb Team: Brandon Bate, Business Improvement Specialist
Hey there, Brandon Bate, Business Improvement Specialist with Cobb Technologies in Lynchburg. What I do on a day-to-day basis is partner with businesses to get a better understanding of their needs, their challenges, and ultimately help them by leveraging office technology to achieve greater outcomes. These outcomes can be in terms of cost reduction or time reduction. Ultimately, what I’m hoping to do is empower businesses and remove the obstacles that prevent them from doing what they do best. Whether it be your printing or scanning needs, information management software, managed IT support, or voice over IP, what I’m hoping to do is create a customized yet affordable solution that helps our customers achieve their goals.
With over 15 years of sales and service experience, I joined the team at Cobb in 2019, and one of the things that I really love about this job is that it presents me with learning opportunities each and every day. Working with for and non-profit organizations across the state in a wide array of vertical markets has presented me with a tremendous amount of learning experience and it’s something that’s benefitted me both personally and professionally - and it’s something that I truly appreciate.
In my free time, I really like to get outside and spend time with my family. My wife, Sarah, and our toddler son, Jackson, really enjoy being outside, hiking along the Appalachian Trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains. When we can find a sitter, Sarah and I like to get on our kayaks and go down the James River near our home. We also like to travel, and we typically pick destinations that allow us to do those same things: explore and experience nature. I’d have to say our favorite hike was in Cinque Terre, Italy, where we did 19 miles in 13 hours.
But that’s enough about me! What I’d really like to hear more about is you and your business. If there’s anything that I can do to be a resource for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Say 'hi!" to Brandon!
